The first edition of a dream! Could there be a more attractive challenge in such waters? What better way to cap a season of training and enjoy the last throes of the summer, when autumn is just around the corner?
An event with which we will conclude the schedule of races where you can score points for the Marnaton eDreams CUP.
Hopefully you’ll be able to find time, although we’re well aware of the difficulties and sacrifices involved in any pleasure trip. We’ll be waiting for you! Because this challenge is a PRIZE in itself and a spectacular END TO THE 2013 SEASON. We hope you make it here and join us at FORMENTERA 2013!
Espalmador, a tiny island (2,295 m long and 800 m wide, 137 hectares) and an idyllic, uninhabited spot, only metres away from the north coast of Formentera. Espalmador combines beaches and coves with clear, turquoise blue water. Its coastline is lined with cliffs, except for a cove to the south and another, smaller one in the north which, thanks to being protected by a small islet, Illa de Sa Torreta, is an ideal refuge for boats. The island has 3 beaches: Es Racó de S’Alga, Cala Bosch and Sa Torreta.
Es Pas de s’Espalmador (or d´Es Trucadors), a 50 m waterway which separates the island of Formentera to the north from the island of Espalmador at its most southern point. Its water is an intense turquoise blue colour which makes this area a place of immense beauty and great ecological and scenic value.
